Hands down, my favorite place in Napa. It just feels special, the rooms are set up like individual bungalows and most have some kind of outdoor space (private outdoor decks or front porches with rocking chairs). The rooms themselves are lovely - not overly spacious, but very luxurious. They have 2 pools on-site, one for adults only up near the spa and another for families, near the gym. All the restaurants on-site are amazing, from FARM for an upscale evening, to Boon Fly Cafe, where you can grab a casual, delicious brunch. There are bikes available on property and a handful of wineries within biking distance. Once again, it's my favorite place.

Solage is a beautiful, modern spa resort in Calistoga. It's a bit far north, but if you're spending some time up in Napa, it's a great jumping off point for visiting wineries. They have a couple of gorgeous pools, one specifically for spa guests, and great restaurants on-site, specifically Solbar (one of my favorites in Napa Valley). You can get special mud-bath spa treatments here, or just go for a traditional massage.

Yountville is the place to stay if you want to be in the center of all the action. It's in the heart of Napa Valley and is home to more than a dozen top rated restaurants all along Washington street. Hotel Yountville is a great option in the area and has a nice pool to hang by after a day of wine tasting.

Great venue for an intimate wedding....or a special getaway. The views from the upper portion of the hotel are incredible and they continue down to the pool. If you don't come to stay, you can stop in for a drink. They have great cocktails if you need a break from wine.

I wish I had more photos of this spot... It's a beautiful hotel with multiple pool areas (one reserved for spa guests). I happened to only snap photos of the room we got upgraded to, which was lovely. We've stayed here multiple times and the standard rooms are equally nice, just less spacious. The spa here is awesome, I highly recommend it, and the on-site restaurant is an excellent stop after a long day of tasting. They serve other things besides wine.
I guess the only drawback is that it's a bit of a drive from Napa Valley, but we're only talking 40 minutes or so and it's a scenic drive.

Truly a breathtaking Calistoga oasis! Set on 16 acres - the Indian Springs Resort is a Spanish style hotel and spa that underwent a $20M renovation in 2016. Highlights include - luxurious rooms and cottages, a huge mineral water pool - heated naturally by hot springs, and bikes available on property for guests to take to nearby wineries or into town. Mud baths also available, a big thing in Calistoga, but not my cup of tea! The mineral pool is heavenly though!
